The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Apex Tool Group is seeking a knowledgeable, highly organized, and analytical cash and treasury professional to support the global treasury function as the Financial Analyst, Corporate Treasury. Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, this position will assist in daily treasury operations and transactions including cash management, cash reporting, forecasting, executing payments, and FX trades.

The Build (Responsibilities)

Coordinate daily cash management activities, transactions, account reconciliation, cash positioning, bank fee analysis and investments. Regularly update the company’s global cash flow forecast, analyze variances, and communicate key findings to senior management Serve as administrator for various online banking systems and assist with user requests Maintain effective control environment and segregation of duties in the performance of cash management function. Support the achievement of global liquidity objectives including cash pooling, repatriation and intercompany funding. Monitor and support bank account set up, maintenance and control mechanisms. Review and/or execute U.S. wire payments including foreign currency transactions. Review monthly Treasury activity and prepare various reports as needed. Provide analysis for funding needs to support capital projects and business strategy. Research and resolve transaction issues in a timely and effective manner. Analyze global cash balances and produce reporting for senior management Develop “top down” global cash forecast based on quarterly earnings and working capital forecasts. Support the compliance process under the Company’s credit facility. Partner with the Tax Department with respect to the annual FBAR compliance. Stay current with new banking products and services relevant to ATG. Work closely with the Accounts Payable department to administer the company’s corporate credit card program

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, with high academic achievement required. 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance or financial analysis; 2-3 years in Corporate Treasury preferred. Certified Treasury Professional/Certified Cash Manager or MBA designation preferred or working towards such designation. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a global, multicultural team.
