As part of SNC's corporate team, you will collaborate with colleagues both within and outside your immediate team to emphasize continuous enhancement, dependable support, and assistance that enables others to reach their goals and objectives.
As a member of SNC's corporate team, we provide strategic guidance and operational support across various domains including executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the global process of gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and updating global exposure data to support the renewal of all insurance policies.
- Act as the primary contact for the team regarding all insurance placements, account management, and ongoing internal support.
- Oversee and maintain all insurance exposure data, documentation, and electronic risk management files.
- Assist with the monthly/semi-annual closure of insurance premium allocations, management fees, and program chargebacks.
- Support internal departments with requests for insurance certificates, proof of insurance, claims processing, subcontract and contract evaluations, presentations, and information gathering for special projects.
- Collaborate with teams across treasury, finance, business sectors, and external partners to develop more effective risk management strategies.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and the preparation of insurance presentations.
- Support the formulation and adherence to global risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and typically 6 or more years of pertinent experience.
- Advanced education may substitute for relevant experience.
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
- Understanding of risk management processes related to coverage procurement, contract evaluation, insurance compliance, claims oversight, insurance recovery, and other aspects concerning the protection of company assets.
- Strong facilitation skills to address complex risks and business stakeholder concerns.
- The ability to independently and collaboratively tackle complex risks and business stakeholder issues.
- Customer service skills in a fast-paced or high-demand environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
- Attention to detail and flexibility in thought processes.
- Capacity to efficiently manage multiple tasks concurrently, delivering relevant information and meeting customer expectations.
- Punctuality and reliability in the workplace.
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in engaging with both external and internal stakeholders, establishing credibility, trust, and healthy relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of risk management processes concerning insurance coverage procurement and contract evaluation, with familiarity in insurance-related matters and/or supply chain support.
- Experience in claims management.
- Professional designations.
