JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinating department wide performance improvement activities and reporting the results of the activities as appropriate. Acts as a facilitator and educator for PI Teams and related PI activities, collects and analyzes measurement date making recommendations for perioperative and/or hospital process improvement.

Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

2 4 years of experience in Perioperative Nursing. MINIUMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. Knowledge of new trends and techniques in nursing and surgery. Member and participant in nurses professional organizations. Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Leadership and teaching ability. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Recognizes the importance of being a role model for others. Knowledge of Performance Improvement/Opportunity Management Model.
