As an HR Intern with us, you'll have the opportunity to dive into the world of HR, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful projects.

This is a part-time position. Intern expected to reside in or near Baton Rouge, LA. This is a hybrid position.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team. This position offers the chance to support multiple client accounts, with a primary focus on recruiting support. As an intern, you'll be trained to effectively source and pre-screen candidates for interviews, as well as assist our consultants with various HR tasks. This role is perfect for someone pursuing an HR-related degree who wants to gain practical experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
While most work will be done remotely, some training and meetings may be in-person. As such, the intern will need to reside in or near the Baton Rouge area.

Responsibilities:
Assist with sourcing and pre-screening candidates for various job positions.
Support consultants in conducting initial candidate interviews.
Collaborate with the team to develop innovative recruiting strategies.
Assist with managing candidate pipelines and applicant tracking systems.
Aid in drafting job descriptions and posting job openings on relevant platforms.
Provide administrative support for HR-related tasks such as onboarding paperwork, employee records maintenance, etc.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and procedures.

Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Some completed coursework in HR fundamentals or related subjects preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
