In conjunction with Pharmacy Manager orients and instructs new pharmacy personnel regarding departmental policies and procedures. Provides drug-related training for pharmacy and other Health Plan employees and providers. Participates in patient education programs and coordinates the development of educational materials as appropriate. Maintains efficient inventory control and purchasing habits. Serves members in a friendly, courteous and expeditious manner, which promotes member satisfaction and retention. Partners with clinical pharmacists in medical office.
