Specific duties include:
- Conducting investigations into situations that may violate rights and/or protection of people (e.g., allegations of abuse, mistreatment, neglect, and violation of civil or human rights)
- Preparing reports for organizational personnel and outside agencies (OPWDD IMU, CAB,MHLS, Police Justice Center, etc.)
- Presenting summary of investigative findings to the Incident Review Committee
- Conducting training sessions in abuse identification, prevention and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in conducting investigations
- Training experience in investigative techniques in the identification, prevention and reporting of abuse
- Must be able to travel throughout the five boroughs of NYC
