DAM & Photo Retouching Coordinator

Our client, a well-known retail/apparel company, is looking for ato join their team for a DAM & Photo Retouching Coordinator to join their team for a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and load assets into the DAM.
  • Maintain and update creative asset workflow procedures.
  • Optimize DAM processes and support workflow changes.
  • Manage access rights and permissions within the DAM.
  • Provide weekly updates on new uploads and usage statistics.
  • Archive photography with proper naming, keywords, and metadata.
  • Adhere to internal controls and retention policies.
  • Train users on naming conventions, processes, and workflows in the DAM.
Photo Shoots:
  • Coordinate with photo-shoot and retouching teams for consistent file management.
  • Update Digital Tech Guidelines and arrange hard drive returns from shoots.
Retouching:
  • Create and maintain a retouching review calendar.
  • Manage image assets for print and digital creative projects.
  • Communicate retouching directions and feedback with art directors and creative teams.
  • Ensure all review feedback is applied and approvals are obtained before final uploads.
  • Manage budget, purchase orders, and vendor invoices for retouching.
  • Oversee project intake and manage team capacity for retouching projects.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in project and DAM management.
  • Knowledge of the retouching process and creative production background preferred.
  • Experience with retouching vendors and creative teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot image files before release.
  • Vendor management skills, including quality control and price negotiations.
  • Strong decision-making, troubleshooting, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of AirTable.
