Position Overview:
Our client, a leading fashion organization, is seeking a skilled Photo Retoucher to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced e-commerce retoucher with a strong background in product and garment retouching, as well as editorial work. The selected candidate will work closely with the Photo Studio Manager, handling the daily preparation and management of photo and video files, while ensuring high-quality retouching and delivery of assets.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $30-36 based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform retouching and color correction to ensure consistency and quality of high-resolution images using Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Maintain color accuracy across all product images.
- Deliver high-standard retouching for product photography.
- Organize and manage digital asset files, ensuring proper naming conventions and uploading images to relevant platforms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of retouching experience in a fast-paced studio environment with a high volume of assets.
- Demonstrated success in e-commerce retouching.
- Exceptional skills in both Ecommerce and Editorial retouching, including experience with apparel, accessories, jewelry, and beauty products.
- Proficiency in Capture One, Photoshop, and digital asset management systems.
- Ability to crop images while adhering to file size specifications.
- Experience with file archiving processes.
- Familiarity with Pixelz is a plus.
- Capacity to thrive in a high-volume studio environment with shifting priorities.
- Quick adaptability to specific style guides and project requirements.
- Efficiently complete large batch jobs of diverse imagery types.
- Proactive and motivated, with a strong initiative to enhance studio services.
- Collaborate effectively with the Studio Manager, photographers, and Art Directors, implementing feedback as needed.
- Exhibit excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude.
