This is a full-time in-person position for our East Lansing office.

Key Responsibilities:

Each day is different, but typical responsibilities for this position include:

  • Accurately set-up, manage, and monitor campaigns on a variety of platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Demand-Side Platforms (DSP).
  • Continually supervise paid media campaigns to ensure performance is in alignment with plan target and campaign budgets.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to optimize results.
  • Proof copy and creative for accuracy effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop comprehensive digital campaign strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with their goals, budget and target audience.
  • Utilize management tools and analytics platforms to track campaign performance, generate insightful reports, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, tools, and trends, and explore opportunities for their integration into clients' campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, and web developers, to project manage the creation of impactful and visually appealing assets.
  • Seek process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure coordination of marketing activities.
  • Develop high quality written content for websites, SEO, and social media.

Qualifications

To be successful, our Digital Marketing Specialist must possess the following:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related, successful experience in social/digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Google Ads, YouTube and Demand-Side Platforms (DSP).
  • Creative problem solver with a drive to use critical thinking to evaluate the problem and identify potential solutions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • A friendly, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • A genuine desire to contribute to the goals of King Media and our clients.
  • Media buying experience (television, radio, print, outdoor, etc.) desired but not required.
