Position Summary: The Financial Analyst position will be responsible for supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis function at Mercury including data sourcing and management, driver-based forecasting, business case development, decision support and financial analysis. The position will report to the Vice President – Finance.

Key Responsibilities: Financial support of the forecasting and budgeting process Financial and forecast model development and management Analyze data and prepare associated financial reporting and projections Automate data collection and evaluation capabilities Results trend and driver-based variance analysis and evaluation Data sourcing and management Financial business case development Financial analysis and decision support

Skills and Requirements: Excellent analytical, computational, and mathematical abilities Proficiency in data extraction and management Strategic thinking and financial modeling skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy High level of integrity Familiarity with Accounting Principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office capabilities

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in (mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or accounting major preferred) 2+ years of relevant experience
