Career Transitions is supporting a leading manufacturer of precision machine parts, and they have an opening on their SW Michigan Team for an Automation Engineer. This role is responsible for leading the automation initiatives throughout the facility and ensuring proper cell layout and robotic placements.

Automation Engineer responsibilities and qualifications:

  • The Automation Engineer will have experience programming and troubleshooting PLC and Industrial Control Systems.
  • Experience working with both AC and DC systems.
  • Apply automation skills to hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with robotic programming highly preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will have three plus years designing automated equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelors Degree highly preferred
