Job Description

The Engineering Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering team through the build phases of various projects. This role involves analyzing machinery operations, troubleshooting during the build process, participating in the planning and design of machinery before assembly, and providing mechanical and assembly support. The position requires hands-on involvement and an ability to take initiative under the guidance of engineers. The selected candidate will start by working on a project in Lafayette, IN for the first 2-3 months, followed by local travel within Michigan and Indiana.
Hard Skills

  • Experience in machine build

Work Environment

The company specializes in designing and manufacturing automation systems that enhance operational efficiencies and production. With a team of 20 people, including a 5-member Engineering team, the new hire will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, Philip Roberts. The work week is typically 45 hours, with significant local travel initially.
