Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with expertise in Multi-Cloud Infrastructure and VMware technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of VMware solutions, Aria Operations, Aria Automation, and cloud platforms and architectures. This role demands experience in designing and deploying multi-cloud solutions using Dell Technologies' tools and methodologies, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • VMware and Multi-Cloud Expertise:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in VMware, particularly around Aria Operations and Aria Automation.
    • Design and deploy Aria Operations and Aria Automation across all sites, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
    • Implement and manage AVI Load Balancer configurations.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Responsible for STIGging (Security Technical Implementation Guide) applicable VMware and cloud products to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Cloud Architecture and Migration:
    • Provide expert knowledge and execution in cloud platforms and architectures, facilitating migration to and between these platforms.
    • Utilize Dell Technologies Multi-Cloud Operating Model, including templates, workbenches, and roles, to enhance service delivery.
  • Technology Implementation:
    • Leverage Dell Technologies Business Case tools for Multi-Cloud to justify, plan, and execute cloud solutions.
    • Implement IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) platforms, focusing on scalability and reliability.
  • Support and Innovation:
    • Provide problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
    • Offer detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for complex issues.
Qualifications:
  • Expertise in VMware environments, including specific experience with Aria Operations and Aria Automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms and architectures, with practical experience in migration strategies.
  • Familiarity with security practices, specifically STIGging of VMware and cloud products.
  • Strong understanding of Dell Technologies Multi-Cloud Operating Model.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and managing IaaS and PaaS platforms.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in multi-cloud infrastructure and VMware technologies.
  • Relevant certifications in VMware, cloud architecture, or related fields are highly desirable.
