We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. This role has flexibility to be part-time or full-time, with typical office hours of Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. No Holidays No WeekendsThe Clinic: BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound. The Practice: BayCare Clinic Cardiology's mission is to help people lead healthier lives through the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Our cardiologists offer preventive cardiac care, heart disease management and strategies for a heart-healthy lifestyle. The cardiologists have developed a comprehensive program that brings the most advanced cardiac services to our community. The Job: Greets and checks in patients.Assists patients in filling out patient forms.Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.Develops patient charts.Enters pertinent information into patient charts.Schedules patient appointments.Collects co-payments from patients.Performs general office duties.Respects and maintains confidentiality.Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.The Requirements:A minimum of a high school education or equivalent. Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.Must possess strong desktop computer skills.Experience with EPIC is preferred.Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
