* Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the customer base, achieves growth, and hits sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

* Manage wholesale sales programs, territories, policies, and procedures.

* Coordination of sales programs, including but not limited to field direct, product allocations, seasonal product, promotional product lines, and yearly catalog offerings.

* Perform sales activities as necessary to meet demand and seasonal needs.

* Properly align sales territories to maintain balance across all sales representatives and serve customers with equal, excellent service.

* Set sales goals and develop strategies with representatives to capture new regional sales and strategize territorial growth in an effective, consistent, manageable fashion.

* Create and update contract language for sales activity requiring clear defined terms.

* Management of customer data and development of data-driven decision making.

* Identify sales support needs. Develop support staff and structure to create resiliency, customer service improvements, and operational efficiencies.

* Work with other managers to drive innovation, efficiency, and service excellence in operations.

* Develop, monitor, and adapt marketing strategies to generate sales. This includes, but is not limited to, monthly promotions, direct mail marketing, email and website marketing, customer events and trade shows, outside sales activities, and customer presentations.

* Manage customer relations. Meet with potential customers and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs. Identify our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.

* Assist in creating and managing yearly budget with other management staff including, but not limited to revenue, expenses, labor, equipment, and forecasting.

* Effectively manage human resources including hiring, firing, scheduling, development of staffing needs, discipline, documentation and others. Develop and provide training.

* Perform other duties as directed. This may include projects or a particular area of work. Existing examples include things such as logistics, marketing, buying or other ongoing activates needed to support Wholesale sales or operations.
