The Talent Acquisition Specialist acts as a recruitment consultant and strategic partner to hiring leader, developing creative sourcing plans for difficult to fill, leadership and other positions as assigned. They also directly support the new employee onboarding process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System including User Management, Job Postings, and reporting. Provide administration of the online onboarding process for all new hires. Build both active and passive candidates' pools/pipelines using cost-effective and efficient sourcing techniques such as internet searches, cold calls, networking, social media, college recruiting, etc. Produce leads and create candidate pipelines through cold calling, networking, and social media. Coordinate and lead scoping sessions for difficult to fill positions and create job specifications for marketing purposes. Follow through with the employment process as defined by policy. Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone /Zoom or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings. Manage current candidate activity in the UKG Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Conduct background checks, including HireRight process. Develop advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility. Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview status. Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Use of independent discretion over matters of significance, including hiring decisions. Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry. Other duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Minimum two years of in-depth sourcing experience using different sourcing methods, databases and cold calling is a must. Experience with UKG ATS a plus. Must possess a strong sense of urgency and strong service mentality. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, manage aggressive deadlines, multiple priorities and allocate appropriate time between positions assigned. Must have strong Boolean search knowledge & search string creation experience. Previous sourcing experience must have been in supporting multi functions and business units.
