And that's where you come in.The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Participating in bid and tender revision when required. Supporting of the Procurement team in the Sourcing process with: initial risk assessments, supplier selection and approval processes based on complexity of the parts that need to be sourced. Actively preparing the suppliers within Gate review processes for the successful and timely FAI and tracking outstanding actions until successful completion of shipments. Assisting suppliers with inspection before ex-works, as required. Developing and tracking product, process and system audits from assigned category. Participating in supplier assessment and rating processes. Initiating and managing Supplier Risk Management Process. Assisting and interacting with the supplier on the Supplier APQP processes. Tracking Supplier Corrective Action Reports and generate statistical situation based on it. Reporting the status of quarantine and blocked stock to the supplier, if required. Collaborating with client factories and Service Deliveries in QRQC/other investigation processes relating ambiguous non-conform products. Reporting on periodic bases supplier KPIs. Participation in Kaizen and Six Sigma processes, if required. Supporting internal quality and production in tasks and meetings. Undertaking any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required. Qualifications: Experience of working in a Supplier Quality role - railway would be advantage but not essential. Extensive experience of working in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of SQA processes. Having working knowledge on Quality and CI tools such as: APQP; Kaizen; SixSigma. Ability to work to technical drawings and specifications. Able to travel worldwide and performing independent activities at suppliers. Able to work and to manage supplier related activities alone. Very good analytical skills. Very good communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy: SAP; MS Office; etc. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Commitment to working as part of a team. An understanding of health and safety requirements of a working environment. Lead auditor qualification and experience (IRCA certified desirable) Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering Hagerstown: Onsite 100%, pay rate 80K -85K/Year.#M1 #LI-TB1
