We are currently seeking a Front Desk Manager to join our team
**Scope of this Position:**
* Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and coach and counsel Front Desk team members.
* Constantly maintain effective training programs, ensuring personnel are highly productive.
* Ensure that all guests receive a courteous and efficient check-in and checkout experience and guest service standards are followed at all times.
* Ensure that all operations of Front Office equipment are understood including software and computer systems. Ensures that a working knowledge of the OPERA system is maintained and utilized.
* Ensure effective two-way communication is maintained with all Front Office team members, as well as with all other departments in the hotel.
**Qualified Candidates will possess the following:**
* Minimum three years experience in hotel front office and/or housekeeping supervision, or any similar combination of education and experience.
* Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
* Basic computers skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and email. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
