You will join our Tunnel & Underground Structures department
As a Lead / Principal Engineer with Tunnel and Underground Engineering Specialization your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
Carrying out the design of cut & cover tunnel, Bored tunnels, Underground Stations, Underground car parks of Tunnel and Underground structure projects in collaboration with our global team.
Mentoring and supervising Assistant Engineers/ Design Engineers and provide inputs to Team Lead/Project Manager/Technical Manager for the continued development of the staff in the team.
Review the work of Engineers and CAD technicians/modelers in the project team.
Undertaking technical due diligence and maintaining quality of deliverables
Overseeing and troubleshooting the work of Tunnel and Underground structures design, guide Assistant Engineers / Design Engineers in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings and BIM models
Delivering projects on agreed quality, time and budget.
Should take initiatives to develop Assistant Engineers / Design engineers and improve the quality of delivery of the team.
A curious and ambitious personality with the desire to improve and develop your career internationally.
An ability to write and speak English fluently.

more than 10 years of experience in Tunnel and Underground Structures design. Hands on experience working with Eurocodes / other international codes is essential.
BE / B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME / M. Tech in Tunnel and Underground /Structural Engineering is very much preferred.
A willingness to take on roles of responsibility and leadership within a team
An interest in a career in tunnel engineering
Knowledge of the international engineering market
Preferably Knowledge of international codes and standards
Experience in carrying out detailed design of tunnel and underground structures taking into account soil structure interaction aspects is essential.
Experience in preparation of design reports and specifications pertaining to Underground structures.
Preference will be given to candidates having good scripting and coding skills in Python/VB/Macros
Have hands on experience in using the design softwares LUSAS/MIDAS/Sofistik is prerequisite.
Professional English language skills (written and verbal) are essential.
Ability to work well in a team and coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of projects.
A desire to develop your career to enable other team members to deliver effective and accurate design and analysis services for our clients.
