We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Charlotte NC. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns and projects. This role involves coordinating and contributing to various marketing projects and creating content to support the external communication strategy. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager and other team members to ensure successful project implementation and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
  • Coordinate and support the production of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and advertisements.
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Develop and edit marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and website content.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice and marketing strategy.
  • Monitor local or national news and industry outlets to inform understanding of trends, target audiences, and the competitive landscape.
  • Compile data to inform marketing analytics and campaign strategies.
  • Maintain marketing databases, resources and tools.
  • Support activities related to conferences, trade shows and other events.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Mailchimp, Wordpress) is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resourceful and capable of creating and maintaining momentum of projects.
