HVAC Business Development Manager

Business Development and Builder Relations
Lead all Business Development activities including bidding, negotiation, acquisition, and retention of new builder accounts
Achieve monthly and annual Revenue targets at or above budgeted Gross Margin by builder
Demonstrated deep understanding of and analysis of competition to ensure that organization achieves market share goals and capitalizes on market opportunities
Collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals and objectives
Provide accurate forecasting and budgeting of Units, Revenue, and Gross Margin
Ensures that no work is performed prior to having clear pricing established that meets Gross Margin targets and an agreed upon and fully executed contract is in place. All contracts must be reviewed with Legal and payment terms must be clearly established and communicated to the Controller and President.
Works with Operations Manager to ensure that we deliver a uniquely exceptional experience for every builder
Point person on escalated Builder Relationship issues working to bring resolution to those in a timely manner and in accordance with The Advanced Advantage
Co-ownership with Operations on establishing and managing piece rate structure that accomplishes controlling labor costs and the ability to achieve budgeted labor and gross margin targets
HVAC Design and Sizing/Estimating
Oversees, directs, and approves HVAC Design and Sizing on all new plans ensuring accordance with compact HVAC design, code, and Advanced Mechanical specific design criteria
Reviews and approves all material and labor takeoffs and estimates based on HVAC design and specific plan requirements ensuring that the Estimated Gross Margin meets established targets by builder type
Conducts and overall review with Operations of material extras and returns to adjust master material estimates accordingly
Drives innovation and efficiency in HVAC Design
