Specialized experience includes: Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to resolve issues or perform projects concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of classification program operations; Ability to make decisions, resolve problems or discrepancies based on knowledge of personnel processing rules, regulations, and procedures; Experience reviewing decisions from the classification appeal process; and Experience researching, analyzing, and evaluating position classification and position management laws, regulations, directives, and policies. GS-13 Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the GS-13, Human Resources Specialist (Classification), and that is typically related to the work of the position to be filled.
