**Description**

JOB **SUMMARY:** The Sr. Customer Relations Specialist will be responsible to provide and nurture customer relations activities between customer and company, sales, sales representatives, operations and engineering by processing information and responding to inquiries and requests.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**

* Processes customer requests and inquiries: quotes price and delivery information; follows up with customers and representatives on quotations.

* Researches and matches internal and external data points to create a quote in the CRM system requiring manual data entry.

* Processes return orders by issuing return material authorization and validating returns; enter replacement orders.

* Review open orders to assure products are being delivered in a timely fashion and provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries, questions, and customer escalations and escalate internally as necessary to acquire the responses timely.

* Administers customer purchase orders; accepts and enters customer purchase orders; conducts purchase order reviews.

* Communicates with customer; confirm or acknowledge orders; completes change notices on new or existing parts.

* Verifies customer to company design; cross reference; works with engineering to meet customer requirements or communicate exceptions.

* Interacts with various members of the Operations team to expedite status changes and remedy or address customer inquiries.

* Interacts with various members of the accounting team to resolve accounting problems such as price discrepancies; credit, freight changes and short shipments.

* Interacts with the Sales team including Regional Sales Managers and Representatives regarding sales opportunities.

* Obtain appropriate pricing strategy within guidelines and obtain necessary approvals; obtain delivery lead-times and quote notes.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Education: Associate's Degree

* Experience Years: 8-10 years

* Experience Type: Customer Service/Inside Sales/Account Management in a Manufacturing Environment

* OR equivalent combination of education and experience

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Web proficiency.

* Ability to read and interpret company manuals and customer requests or requirements

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as, effectively speak to customers, vendors, and employees of the organization.

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and apply basic mathematical concepts.

* Ability to solve practical problems and breakdown a variety of complex situations.

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished orally, in writing, electronically, by diagram, or schedule form .
