Position Summary: The Contracts Clerk performs clerical, administrative, and any or all other related functions for the company. The Contracts Clerk is responsible for completing and executing tasks that are assigned both timely and accurately. Ability to communicate frequently and regularly with appropriate Greenstone Electrical Services personnel to affect successful completion of projects as well as assure customer satisfaction. Essential Functions: Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs using appropriate quality control methods. This task may require utilizing more than one monitor. Clerical or administrative experience is highly preferred; experience with utility contracts, maintaining inventory or dispatching high volume service work, digitally transmitted is desirable. Ability to comprehend basic business math calculations is preferred. Perform related tasks organize and filing documents, both physically and electronically. Prepare and or create relevant reports as needed. Organize work to stay on task with multiple projects. Perform and accept any other administrative/clerical duties as requested by the Company. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong computer skills. Proficient in EXCEL. Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately. Comfortable with office equipment including a computer, telephone, scanner, calculator, and photocopier. Strong attention to detail. Ability to think analytically. Ability to keep up with high volume and fast-paced environment. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED. 2 years clerical experience or related office experience. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to fingers, handle, and feel; and reach with hands and arms.
