We serve clients in over 40 national brands spanning the pizza, chicken, deli and health/wellness segments.Accounting Technicians are given a wide variety of general accounting and data entry assignments in conjunction with financial services for the franchise industry. Senior Technicians will perform day-to-day functions for the firm using established systems and procedures and provide assistance to other Franchise Services team members.Primary Responsibilities:Account and payment reconciliationPrepare and process electronic transfers and paymentsData analyticsAssist in training new team membersResearch and resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain W-9's and 1099 statusOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong project management skillsExperience leading a team strongly preferredBasic knowledge of accounting principlesInterest in learning new skills and platforms as needed for new projectsAptitude for self-guided learning on new technologyProficiency in Microsoft SuiteExperience using accounting software preferredRequired Experience:2-5 years' accounting or accounts payable experienceExperience in public accounting strongly preferredPrevious experience supporting franchise clients helpfulEducation Required:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredSome college preferredStarting salaries and total compensation packages are determined individually, with factors such as educational achievement, work experience, skills, expertise, and training taken into consideration.The firm you'll be joining is a decidedly different CPA-led business advisory firm.
