As an Accounting Technician, you will engage in a diverse array of general accounting tasks and data entry responsibilities, specifically tailored to the franchise industry. Senior Accounting Technicians will oversee daily operations utilizing established protocols and provide guidance to fellow Franchise Services team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile accounts and manage payment processes
  • Facilitate electronic transfers and payment processing
  • Conduct data analytics
  • Support the training of new team members
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices
  • Maintain accurate W-9 and 1099 records
  • Perform additional tasks as required
Essential Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Leadership experience is highly desirable
  • Fundamental understanding of accounting principles
  • Willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to new platforms for upcoming projects
  • Self-motivated learner with a knack for technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with accounting software is advantageous
Required Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable
  • Public accounting experience is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in supporting franchise clients is beneficial
Educational Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Some college education is preferred
