**Job Description**Seeking a skilled TIG Welder to operate welding equipment and perform a variety of weld operations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in TIG (GTAW) and PLASMA welding methods, understand basic weld symbology, and identify weld discontinuities through visual inspection. Responsibilities include setting up and performing complex weld operations, troubleshooting basic welding issues, and maintaining high standards of quality and precision. Candidates must pass internal qualification requirements, a visual acuity test, and a color-blindness test.**Hard Skills**+ Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) and PLASMA welding+ Ability to work with TIGHT tolerances on very small surfaces+ Troubleshooting basic welding issues+ Setting up welding equipment+ ASME and AWS welding qualifications preferred**Soft Skills**+ Attention to detail+ Ability to independently manage tasks+ Strong visual inspection skills**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Buffalo, New York.**Work Environment**The position is based in an industrial work environment within a clean, organized, and well-lit shop.
