Position Overview:

We are currently seeking committed individuals for the role of Assembly/Packer. Established in 1968, R&M Manufacturing specializes in the production of precision sheet metal components. With over five decades of excellence in sheet metal fabrication, we cater to all sheet metal requirements, from initial prototypes to extensive production runs.

What to Expect:

As an Assembly/Packer, you will play a vital role in meeting material demands for both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Packing components, whether on skids or in boxes
  • Performing various assembly tasks
  • Maintaining an organized workspace for all materials and products
  • Conducting visual inspections of parts and completing quality check documentation as necessary
  • Resolving discrepancies effectively
  • Setting up and utilizing weight scales
  • Reading and following work order instructions

Key Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should:

  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and seek assistance when necessary
  • Adhere to all safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following 5S principles
  • Be capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Have a basic understanding of handheld power tools

We are looking for a reliable and punctual team player who is enthusiastic about contributing to our fabrication team while ensuring safety and quality in production. We are also open to training the right candidates.


Our Facility:

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility spans 100,000 square feet and is equipped with:

  • Wire EDM
  • CNC Machining Centers
  • Grinders
  • CNC turret punches (20 to 35 tons)
  • Lasers (Up to 4000 Watts, 60x120 sheet size)
  • CNC press brakes (45 to 185 tons)
  • Punch presses (Progressive and Staged Tooling) (45 to 250 tons)
  • Resistance welders (75 KVA to 250 KVA)
  • Robotic Weld Cell
  • Tig, Mig, Plasma, and Pulse Arc welding
