Job Description Seeking an experienced sales professional with Distributor experience in the Chemical or CASE related industries to join a leading supplier in Additives, Coatings and Pigments for construction, personal care, food & beverage, among other areas. Please note this is not a people manager position, but rather territory management with dual responsibilties of account management and new business development. It is a remote role with majority of travel within the greater Los Angeles area. Must reside within an hour commute of LA as daily travel requirements will be within that local area. The person selected will be the recipient of a well-established territory and be provided with an existing book of business. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for accounts and evaluating opportunities for new business growth Create and execute short, medium, and long-term customer growth strategies Effectively use and update CRM and other platforms to record customer and sales information Visiting current customers and prospective customers within the territory. Attend industry trade shows and marketing events throughout the year. Strong skills in conducting formal presentations and collaborating with individuals and teams at all levels. Requirements: Must reside within hour commute of Los Angeles Minimum of 5 years sales experience within the area of CASE products and ingredients Must have experience working directly for a Distributor. Strong Distributor and Supplier knowledge and experience within the chemical industry.
