Summary of Job Duties:
The Business Manager & Publicity/Marketing Director will be responsible for promoting, publicity, marketing, graphic design, and serving as the business manager for all productions in the Department of Theatre. The position requires that the chosen candidate can execute the above in a manner that can be shared with department admins and admin faculty ala carte as well as with faculty as bi annual reports. Regular, in person, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
At least three years working design experience
At least two years of experience related to cash management
Preferred Qualifications
At least five years working design experience
Current experience with procurement card processing and Workday
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge and mastery of Adobe CS products, with emphasis on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or most current available software
Strong typographic skills
Strong oral and written communication skills, supervisory skills, and excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in dealing with the public, are required
Strong organizational skills
Ability to be flexible, have initiative, and self-motivation
