Summary of position:
As a member of the Marketing Department, the Brand Coordinator coordinates and helps execute all marketing-related projects for our global brands, but in particular focuses on IES Internships (IP) unit and Customized & Faculty-Led Programs (CP) department. This position also provides additional marketing support for IES Global, IES Abroad, Diversity Recruiting & Advising (DRA), and Advancement & Alumni Engagement, as needed.
Essential job responsibilities & duties:
Organization-Wide Branding
Audit, edit, and proofread all IES Internships, Customized Programs, and Diversity marketing print materials, letters, documents, and reports.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing team to integrate digital marketing and brand strategies, including ensuring brand consistency in their content creation.
With Director of Brand Marketing, establish and continuously enforce and refine brand identity.
Support Director of Brand Marketing in training staff on overall brand and marketing voice.
Serve as the expert on the offerings by business line and maintaining up-to-date information for the marketing purposes
With Art Director, maintain and promote use of Style Guide, with annual updates and dissemination.
Branding by Business Line
With Director of Brand Marketing, prioritize projects and develop strategic marketing plans for IP and CP departments.
Help create and maintain content related to IES Internships and Customized & Faculty-Led Programs, as well as student diversity and identity for website, print, and social media channels.
Serve as lead for campaigns promoting IP, CP, and occasionally DRA.
Contribute to the creation of analytics reports of ongoing marketing efforts for IES Internships and Customized Programs.
Deliver and/or support the marketing for IP, CP, DRA including:
Print materials
Advertising
Outreach to colleges and universities
Promotional items/swag
General
Serve as the Marketing liaison and point of contact for select IES Abroad Centers.
Supervise and direct freelancers and vendors when appropriate on a per project, as needed basis.
Stay up to date on current trends in the industry.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Any other task or duty as assigned or required.

Experience & Qualifications/Skills:
1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in study abroad or higher education-related fields.
Ability to take initiative, and work autonomously and reliably
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Ability to communicate effectively
Expert writing skills and ability to write toward a target audience for print and digital
Proven track record of organizing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
Exceptional interpersonal skills as part of a team-focused work environment that also works with other departments and external partners.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills that are used to improve internal processes/outcomes
Commitment to our mission and values and promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism required
Strong computer skills and experience with project management platforms such as Trello or Airtable, as well as a CMS, a plus
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
Ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude even during stressful situations
Print production and design experience preferred
Proficiency with social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) a plus
Education, Licenses and/or Certifications etc:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, related field; or equivalent work experience
