Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports, schedules, and variance analysis for management review
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
  • Assemble monthly and quarterly rollforward and reconciliation packages
  • Prepare standard and adjusting journal entries
  • Effectively perform and communicate analysis on reports, schedules, accounts, and transactions
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with appropriate GAAP standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Prepare audit and tax schedules relating to fixed assets and intangibles
  • Assist with inquiries related to fixed asset reporting and other assigned areas
  • Develop, monitor, and update processes for improved accounting and operational functions
  • Provide assistance with miscellaneous projects as needed
Education and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting is required
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
  • Possesses outstanding interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Seeks to provide accurate, efficient, and quality work
  • Proven ability to perform responsibilities independently, as well as in a team
  • Able to provide and communicate detailed analysis at a high level
  • Has a solid understanding of, and the ability to apply, GAAP standards
  • Ready to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt assistance to others
  • Able to plan, organize, and see projects through to completion while managing deadlines
  • Excited to provide support and contribute to the success of a team
