RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Work within a cross-functional team of engineers to design and develop cell measurement systems
  • Support R&D efforts by designing and executing experiments and analyzing results
  • Work closely with optical and systems engineers to troubleshoot and debug issues
  • Write electrical engineering specifications and test plans
  • Design, build and own prototypes to test and validate new concepts
  • Build and test electrical assemblies and components
  • Familiarity processing analog & digital signals

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, physics or related technical discipline; Masters degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of professional design engineering experience
  • Experience in the design and development of complex electromechanical and optoelectronic systems
  • Proficient in Altium or equivalent.
  • Experience troubleshooting circuit boards and soldering/desoldering components.
  • Candidate must be experienced in early-stage development including prototyping.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to produce presentations using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary team
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Physics background would be a bonus
