Draft survey and audit briefs describing results work, review corrective actions on prior audit findings, and evaluate the adequacy of those corrective actions. Compile reports and briefing materials that are persuasive and concise and aid in preparation of accounts and Office elements for external audits, including those conducted by GAO, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and other audit staff, and serving as client point-of-contact for external auditors. Perform analysis of departmental financial data and procedures to ensure compliance and make recommendations to enhance operations and operational efficiencies. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: Experience with planning and conducting audits and analyzing data derived from audits Experience with formulating reports Knowledge of federal audit practices Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to analyze data effectively Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with federal auditing or Master's degree and 6+ years of experience with federal auditing Certified Public Accountant Certification required Secret clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
