Job Description/Responsibilities

The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the company is meeting all state regulatory requirements related to selling the Company's products. The regulatory requirements include, but are not limited to, filing monthly reports, obtaining and renewing state licenses and permits, registering products and labels, providing state agencies broker and distributor assignments, submitting product quotes and listings to state agencies, obtaining and renewing state DBA's.

  • Work with manager to identify skill development needs. Create and execute plan for improving at least one skill area each year.
  • Develop and maintain solid professional working relationship both inside and outside the company. Set a positive example and act in a manner consistent with company values.
  • Utilize CDS to determine training needs and identify curriculum, programs and content to prepare for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on the job learning opportunities. Work with manager to determine growth potential and outline a plan for possible long term career moves.
  • Ensure that all state regulations are met with regard to monthly reporting, sales permits and license, pricing, product and label registration. Ensure that all state regulations are met with regard to pricing, product and label registration and broker and distributor assignment. Use systems to drive for organized document retention and calendaring of renewals and work to ensure easy monitoring, maintenance and auditing of work.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, customer focused services while ensuring that the company meets state regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements MUST
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • Detail Oriented
  • 1 year experience in Compliance/Regulatory Reporting
PREFERRED
  • Experience in process design, implementation and improvement
  • 1 year Alcoholic Beverage Industry
