Why You'll Love Swish DentalOur career opportunities come with great benefits including:Competitive salaryBonus programsNo weekendsMedical,vision, & dental benefitsShort-term disability Paid holidays and time offAnd moreMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, welcoming studio environmentAssist in coordinating studio patient flowMaintain a "team first" and "patient first" attitude Collaborate with the clinical team to chart and code according to the ADA coding guidelinesAnalyze and modify treatment plans to reflect insurance coverage and limitation detailsPresent and schedule clinical proceduresAdminister and set up payment plan agreements for financed patient treatmentCollect and post paymentsCreate, send, and manage insurance claimsSet up accounts and create charts for new patientsUpload correspondence from specialists to patient file; follow up on returned correspondenceComplete end of day duties to ensure preparation and success the following dayAddress patient concerns regarding recommended treatment, insurance coverage, or balances dueCommunicate with patients and coworkers clearly and efficientlyContinuously increase knowledge and skills Willingness to train othersOther duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesFluent in English; verbal and writtenReliable transportation to ensure punctual attendanceExcellent telephone etiquette and skillsDetail OrientedFamiliarity with dental terminologyWillingness to cover shifts at locations not typically assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree or higher preferred1+ years of dental experience required1+ years of customer service experience preferredCPR and/or BLS certification preferredPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position may be required to sit or stand for long periodsThis position may be required to work more than 40 hours per weekThis position is in a clinical studio environment which can be noisy and distractingThis position may be exposed to infectious diseases and/or blood borne pathogensThis position may be required to handle sharp objectsThis position may be exposed to harmful chemicals and/or gassesThis position may be required to communicate with others to exchange informationThis position may require repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersThis position may require the operation of machinery and/or power toolsThis position may require the assessment of the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assignedThis position may require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spacesThis position may require medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 poundsSwish Dental is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
