Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Development & Communications at Southeastern Vermont Community Action, Inc. The role involves planning and implementing fundraising strategies, managing budgets, overseeing planned giving and annual giving programs, and cultivating philanthropic relationships. The Director will also be responsible for promoting the organizations mission and activities through effective communication strategies.

Qualifications
  • Planned Giving and Annual Giving expertise
  • Experience in Philanthropy and Fundraising
  • Strong budgeting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of development strategies and donor relations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelors degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field
  • Certification in Fundraising Management is a plus
