General Purpose:

Provide accounting support to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Tax departments by processing cash receipts, assisting with AP and Tax-related functions, and other accounting duties as assigned. All employees consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares customers' check payments for deposit with the bank
  • Apply customers' payments (checks and ACH) to appropriate invoices as directed by remittance advices
  • Assist tax team with year-end responsibilities
  • Perform weekly general ledger tasks, as assigned
  • Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or supervisor
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • High School diploma
  • Enrollment in an associate's or bachelor's degree program at a college or university
  • Ability to work a defined full-time schedule
  • Good organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Able to effectively communicate (written and verbally) with all levels of company personnel and with outside contacts
  • Adequate computer processing skills (Windows, Excel, Word)
