Shift : Days, on call is a requirement, schedule varies, four 10 hr shifts or five 8 hour shifts

Facility Description:

Since 1989, AdventHealth Littleton has been proud to serve the flourishing south metro Denver community as your partner in health. Providing whole-person care and treatment that is powered by faith, AdventHealth Littleton serves our local and regional communities in providing essential health care needs, including innovative neurology, orthopedic, cardiology and urology services, as well as the BirthPlace and acclaimed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). We are also a destination hospital for highly specialized care in emergency & trauma services, neurosciences, the Breast Care Center, and more. AdventHealth Littletons focus on safety, sustainability, and excellent clinical performance has earned awards and recognition for programs in cardiac services, neurology, stroke, geriatric care, and more.

The role youll contribute:

Responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, develop schedules, and act as subject matter experts for their units. Develops and leads staff to be personally accountable for the organizational mission, core values and success. Ensures appropriate orientation for new employees to the unit. Assures current standards of practice for the unit. Strong communication skills, acts as liaison between the physicians, floor nurses, imagining staff and ordering physicians.

The value youll bring to the team:

Responsible for entire patient care experience.

Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.

Performs IV starts and contrast administration upon successful completion of internal department standards, as applicable to your modality.

Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA).

Explains the procedure to patients and responds to their physical and emotional needs.

Qualifications - External

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

  • 1 year of related experience
  • Current Registered Technologist, Radiology R.T. (R) (ARRT)
  • BLS Certified
