Position Overview : The FP&A Manager plays a critical role in steering the companys financial strategy. Responsible for analyzing financial trends, creating budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and guiding strategic decision-making based on their findings. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance.

Responsibilities:

+ Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

+ Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

+ Provide insights to senior management on financial performance.

+ Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.

+ Collaborate with business unit heads to determine revenue and expense projections.

+ Consolidate forecasts from various teams to create a comprehensive company-wide plan.

+ Process Improvement: Continuously improve forecasting processes and data analysis methods.

+ Identify cost-cutting opportunities and advocate for their implementation.

+ Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Analysts.

+ Ensure timely completion of tasks such as budgeting, variance analysis, and efficiency improvements.

+ Communication: Interpret instructions from executives (Director/VP, CFO, and CEO).

+ Effectively communicate financial insights to stakeholders.

+ Recruitment and Training: Recruit and train new team members.

+ Navigate office politics and manage diverse personalities.

Qualifications :

+ Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Masters preferred).

+ 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Experience in defense manufacturing or related industries is a plus.

Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience.
