Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Reconcile and scrutinize balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.

Requirements of the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate accounting.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills of the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Experience in the technology/software sector or a related field.
  • CPA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
