Position Overview:

This role is a key leadership position that plays a crucial role in driving the strategic direction and effectiveness of monitoring activities within the organization, contributing to its overall success and resilience. This role would involve a combination of strategic planning, operational oversight, and performance management.

The person in this role will be working 2nd and 3rd shift roles.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic vision for monitoring activities aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This includes identifying key priorities, setting targets, and defining strategies to achieve them. Establish policies, procedures, and guidelines related to monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while also promoting best practices. Assess and select appropriate monitoring technologies and tools to support organizational objectives. This may include data analytics platforms, monitoring software, and hardware infrastructure. Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities that could impact the organization's operations, reputation, or stakeholders. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans, as needed. Manage the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and technology investments, to support effective monitoring activities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior management, department heads, and industry partners, to ensure alignment of monitoring efforts with organizational priorities and expectations. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of monitoring activities and monitoring performance against targets and benchmarks, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Provide training and professional development opportunities to monitoring staff to enhance their skills and capabilities. Ensuring that staff have the necessary knowledge and resources to carry out their roles effectively. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the monitoring function, seeking feedback from stakeholders, and implementing process enhancements and innovations to optimize performance. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on monitoring activities, findings, and insights. Prepare and deliver reports to senior management and other relevant parties to inform decision-making. Drive the adoption of standard work within and outside of the department as it relates to monitoring, protocols, and customer expectations Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure alignment on service level outcomes Identify root cause of service level and other operational issues and implement a plan to remedy the gaps Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management (or any related field) Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in a multinational environment Ability to obtain or maintain a Security System Technician license (as applicable by state law) Ability to obtain or maintain a Passport Strong experience in customer service industry (ideally within the security industry) Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Experience with MS PowerBI preferred Experience with Visual Management techniques preferred Aptitude for learning new technology Excellent analytical skills Perseverance and ability to drive change
