Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Risk Assessment: Oversee the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks across the organization, including operational, financial, compliance, and technology risks.
  • Policy Development: Establish and maintain risk management policies and procedures to ensure effective risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor risk indicators and metrics. Prepare and present detailed risk reports to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Incident Management: Lead the investigation and analysis of risk incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution and reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the risk management team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Financial Risk Manager, Certified Risk Management Professional) is preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in a senior risk management role within the financial services industry, preferably with experience in platform-based financial services.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
    • In-depth understanding of risk management principles and practices.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
    • Experience with financial transaction processing systems is a plus.
