Job Summary:
To provide professional skills in the comprehensive evaluation of patients with speech and language impairments, and to provide habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services.
Job Duties:
Our Speech Pathology program includes the following services in acute care, and outpatient clinic settings: Adult, infant and toddler feeding assessments, pediatric and adult modified barium swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing, videostroboscopy and voice treatment, assessment of trach and ventilator dependent patients, speech rehabilitation for head and neck cancer patients, and speech, language and cognitive-linguistic assessments. Additional opportunities include teaching of medical students, residents, and supervision of clinical fellows.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in Voice and Classically trained vocal expert for voice evaluation and treatment, prefer experience in dysphagia assessment and treatment but not necessary.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
