Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating students' speech and language abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy services to students in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and IEP objectives.
  • Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy services to students individually or in groups, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and ensure student success.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure required.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school environment preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and caseload management skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with students, parents, and staff.
