Responsibilities:

Learning and Development:

  • Develop and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Track training completions and maintain records of employee training and development activities.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with department managers to design customized training programs.

Compliance Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor and evaluate employee performance.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to managers on performance management processes and techniques.
  • Conduct performance reviews and facilitate goal-setting discussions with employees.

Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor HR team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Handle terminations and conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights from departing employees.
  • Ensure terminations are handled in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on termination procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in HR management roles, with demonstrated expertise in learning and development, compliance, terminations, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
