The Regional Director of Field Inspections (DOFI) plays a pivotal role at Southern Roofing and Renovations, leading our efforts to train and equip SRNR Project Managers (PMs) across the company with insurance knowledge. This position aims to establish our team as the most knowledgeable and experienced exterior restoration general contractors in the Residential Property Insurance industry. The DOFI is instrumental in enhancing profitability and revenue through the Project Manager insurance inspection process and works closely with Sr VPs and GMs in all markets to ensure SRNR customers receive outstanding service, communication, and customer service excellence. This role demands a commitment to maintaining industry-leading knowledge and experience in general contracting, with a focus on building envelope knowledge, repair methods, property claims investigation methods, manufacturer specifications, installer guidelines, OSHA safety specifications, International Residential Codes (IRC), local municipality codes, and IECC energy codes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Insurance Restoration Leadership: Lead the strategic direction and operational execution of our insurance restoration services, ensuring all Project Managers are proficient in handling insurance claims from initiation to completion. Recruitment and Training: Provide targeted training on insurance claims handling and damage assessment techniques. Quality Control and Compliance: Implement rigorous quality control measures and ensure compliance with insurance industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular audits of PM activities related to insurance claims to maintain high standards of service. Professional Development: Foster the continuous professional growth of PMs, emphasizing expertise in insurance restoration practices, customer service excellence, and claims management. Performance Management: Monitor and review the performance of PMs in managing insurance claims, including metrics such as claim resolution times, customer satisfaction ratings, and accuracy of claims documentation. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with insurance companies, adjusters, and underwriters to streamline the claims process and reduce friction points. Works closely with the Estimation Team around documentation from agreed scope of loss. Industry Engagement: Stay abreast of changes in insurance policies, restoration techniques, and regulatory requirements to ensure our team remains at the forefront of the insurance restoration industry. Requirements: Proven experience in a leadership role within the insurance adjusting, exterior restoration or general contracting industry. Extensive knowledge of Xactimate scoping,

repair methods, property claims investigation, manufacturer specifications, installer guidelines, OSHA safety specifications, IRC, local municipality codes, and IECC energy codes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a high-performing team. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on providing outstanding claims experiences. Ability to work closely with department heads and field supervisors to improve profitability and revenue.
