The Social Media Manager is a key team member within the Marketing Department and will be a hands-on leader who can oversee day-to-day operations while providing strategic guidance for long-term success. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Creative. The right person for this role will thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment and will work with team members across departments to support the creation of authentic and fun brands/experiences. We're looking for a highly creative, collaborative, and passionate leader to join us.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with brand and business goals.
  • Collaborate with in-house creative team to develop compelling content for all social media platforms, both paid and organic, ensuring content is tailored to the right audience and objective.
  • Establish primary KPIS for social media campaigns, measure performance and use data to make informed optimization recommendations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media content calendars for each brand that are aligned with company goals, tap into cultural trends and deliver consistent brand positioning and tone of voice.
  • Manage 1-2 direct reports, fostering a high performing, energized work environment that reflects the company culture.
  • Oversee community management by engaging with followers and other businesses, responding to direct messages and providing customer support as needed.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing Manager to provide paid social campaign input, including budget, audience and objective recommendations
  • Manage partnership with field teams to capture relevant content for location social posts/engagement.
  • Oversee social media influencer and brand partnerships program, identifying and building relationships with key influencers and measuring overall impact to business goals.
  • Compile data and analyze metrics across social media platforms and create weekly/monthly reports that include analysis of insights, ways to optimize spend, and suggestions that inform future brand strategies development.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team, operations managers, and creative team members to identify requirements to support existing brands.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • BS/BA in marketing, communication, business, fine art, design or relevant field.
  • 6-8+ years of marketing experience focused on social media management and/or content creation.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly proficient in social media support tools (e.g. Sprout, Hootsuite,etc.)
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects across multiple brands/regions. Experience in hospitality and/or entertainment brands a plus
  • Analytical and creative thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading & managing social media teams.
