Job Description

This role is responsible for connecting clients with a wide range of financial solutions offered by the bank to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include balancing service requests and sales opportunities, providing subject matter expertise on financial solutions, understanding clients' life and financial goals through probing questions, and pairing new solutions and services to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and deepen client relationships by uncovering financial needs and recommending the best products, services, and solutions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, creating customized solutions.
  • Sell and fulfill banking products including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, Certificates of Deposit (CDs), Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), and loans.
  • Identify client needs for licensed sales functions, making referrals to Line of Business partners.
  • Quote rates, terms, and programs for banking solutions.
  • Manage risk in every business, product, and service transaction by leveraging available tools.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Displays passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves clients' financial lives.
  • Commitment to teamwork and flexibility to work a schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and actively share options using plain language, building rapport, and handling objections.
  • Comfortable with receiving ongoing performance feedback and coaching.
  • Adaptable to ongoing change and learning new technology/processes.
  • At least an intermediate level of proficiency with computers.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in the banking/financial industry.
  • Experience working in a call center.
  • Experience in telephone sales.
Minimum Education Requirement:
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
