This position requires a proactive and analytical mindset, the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies, and a track record of leading successful data projects from start to finish.

What will you do?

  • Strategic Data Initiatives: Lead large-scale data projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration with our sales operation's strategies.
  • Analyze and Interpret Data: Utilize advanced technical skills in SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and other analytical tools to perform deep-dive analyses and interpret complex data sets. Leverage data science techniques to predict and interpret complex data sets to uncover actionable insights.
  • Solution Design and Architecture: Craft scalable and robust data architectures, integrating complex data systems to support analytics and reporting needs. Prioritize initiatives, assess project efforts, and allocate resources to maximize impact.
  • Project Leadership: Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables with minimal supervision. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to translate data and analytics requirements into effective BI solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Drive Innovation in BI: Explore and implement new technologies, methodologies and innovative approaches to advance our BI capabilities.
  • Sales Focus: Apply a strong understanding of sales processes and strategies to drive proactive data investigations. Provide insights that support sales leadership and business growth.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to apply knowledge and creativity to resolve complex issues
  • Technical Experience with:
    • ETL/data blending tools and processes (e.g. Alteryx, Informatica, AWS Glue)
    • Database/data architecture (e.g. SQL, Redshift, Snowflake)
    • Data visualization (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Domo, Qlik)
    • ML frameworks and techniques
  • Ability to strategize, analyze, and interpret data to generate insights. Capable of leading projects with a strategic mindset and a focus on business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills. Ability to lead initiatives and operate with a high degree of independence, effectively navigating projects to completion while engaging stakeholders and team members in a collaborative manner.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, strategies, and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive data driven decision making
  • 7+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science, or similar roles
  • BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with focus in Data and Analytics
